I am wanting to sell a ring I have had for a while and do not wear anymore. It is a women's yellow gold emerald and diamond right hand/cocktail ring. It is in great condition and I have the appraisal from the jewelry store in 1987 - The ring appraised for $5568.00! I am asking $2750 OBO. It contains 20 baguettes (1.00 carat total weight in diamonds) and 1 green emerald. The carat weight of the emerald is around 0.90 carats. When the appraisal was done back then, they didn't include the carat weight of the gemstone. A jeweler told me this week that I could do the calculation for myself online using the gemstone type and the dimensions.
